The Azalea Lakes Homeowners Association was established in 1988 as a legal entity incorporated
under the laws of the State of Louisiana as a Mandatory Homeowner/Property Owner Association*. As such, any individual, corporation
or entity purchasing a home or lot in the original Azalea Lakes Subdivision filing becomes a member of ALSA with said purchase. Dues are levied and collected annually for the purpose of funding maintenance of all common areas in the
subdivision, including but not limited to the park, Jefferson Highway frontage, Azalea Lakes Av and Lake Iris Av entrances,
and mail center. An Annual meeting is held the third Tuesday in January of each year for the purposes
of electing a Board of Directors, reviewing the prior year's budget and expenses, approving the budget for the upcoming
year, and other business as brought before the membership. All homeowners have one (1) vote per lot with 147 lots in the original
filing. *For additional information about Mandatory Homeowner/Property
Owner Associations click here.
