Joint Efforts! Lake Azalea is a shared private lake in the heart of the Azalea Lakes Subdivision
in southeastern East Baton Rouge Parish and is bounded to the west by state highway - Jefferson Highway, to the north
by HooShooToo Road, and to the east and south by private property owners. It is a shared lake because the subdivision
- Azalea Lakes - is composed of two complete homeowner associations that participate in ownership of Lake Azalea. The southerm
most association - Azalea Lakes Subdivision Association - consists of 147 homes. The more northern association, relative to
the lake - Azalea Lakes North Homeowners Association - includes 350 homes. The two associations, being intimately connected
to the use of the Lake have made an effort to adopt a unified set of rules concerning Boating and Fishing on Lake Azalea.
You will find the same rules posted and enforced by the North association as well. Herein, for the use of the residents and
enlightenment of guests, are posted the Boating and Fishing Rules for Lake Azalea.

Lake Azalea Boating rules: All boats used on
the lake must be resident’s boats and have two Azalea Lakes Subdivision boat stickers, one on each side. Boats or stickers
should not be loaned to others such as workers on your property or an unaccompanied guest.
Mechanically powered boats will be powered by electric troll motor type power – no
outboard gasoline powered motors are allowed to be put into service on the lake. Boating is allowed

All boats must have a Personal Flotation Device (Life

lake maintenance committee chairman will handle this duty. If your boat is sold or given away, please remove the stickers and destroy them. Boat Decals for
resident’s boats are available from the Lake Committee Chairmen. The current Chairman for the Azalea Lakes South Association
